I saw a picture of an hour glass with the sand almost run out. As it did, the hour glass was immediately turned and a full measure reinstated and a whole new beginning began. I also saw a picture of a camel train going through a dry, sandy desert, laden with provisions and produce and treasures, with everything. It had been a long, hot and difficult journey but had the sense that it was nearly over. The destination was in sight or just out of sight. It would not be long before the camels would have the opportunity to discharge their burdens and have a time of rest and refreshment and reward. A sense that the difficult time was almost over and the fulfillment of the purpose of the ordeal was about to begin for both individuals and as a Church. But a time is coming when a change of season is about to happen. A new season of reward in seeing the provisions long-carried meeting the needs of others – of people being clothed, fed and equipped as we offload the blessings we carry for others. That we will see the fulfillment of all He has purposed for us.

Isaiah. 46: 4, 10, 13 “ Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. 10 “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. i say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.” 13 “I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendour to Israel.”

On returning home to write what I remembered of this impression I felt a confirmation in opening my computer after it had been turned off. The screenshot (not the usual one I have as a wallpaper) was of a sand dune in a desert. Also the devotional reading for today from “Ever Present Love” by Brian Simmons reads: SPIRITUAL STAMINA “God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting.” Luke 18:8 (TPT) Faith. It’s one of the most powerful words on the planet. A substance so dynamic that our entire belief system is built upon it. It’s invisible, yet able to support us in the most difficult times. Though it shouldn’t, it rises and falls and shifts according to the trials we go through. This is where spiritual stamina comes in. The more we exercise our faith, the stronger we get. When we’d normally quit, we find ourselves holding on; declaring truth in the face of lies. Even when it feels like our prayers aren’t being answered, we stir ourselves up and believe. We reject the fear, release the questions, and turn confusion into expectancy. We persevere because faith refuses to give up.” Prayer: Jesus, I want faith that endures. Stamina to run this race with joy and expectancy. Strengthen me, train me, and fill me with your grace. Help me to never quit. To release every fear and hold on to faith. And if I begin to doubt, hold me close and breathe upon the embers of my heart. Bring me back to you. Luke 18:7-8 in NIV: “And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you , he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Amen and Blessings,

Kaye.
