John 17:21‐23 “Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you have given me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”

About a week ago I had an encounter where this scripture became so alive to me. I was lying on my bed praying and suddenly I could feel the presence of Jesus at the end of my bed. I opened my eyes to look but couldn’t see anything in the natural yet I had such a strong sense of the presence of Jesus, almost like he was physically sitting on the end of my bed.

He stood up and slowly walked a few steps across and turned to face me, as He did, He jumped into the air, spread out like he was skydiving and then he whooshed down inside of me. I said to myself ‘…wow, what was that all about’.

God took me back to a vision I had about a year ago where I was walking to work and saw a man rolling towards me in a wheelchair. As I approached him, I saw Jesus run up out of me towards this man, kneel down next to him and quickly look back at me with a huge smile saying “come Luke, come pray for this guy, I want to heal him”.

God then began to speak to me about these 2 encounters; He spoke about me being his dwelling place. Jesus lives inside of every believer; he makes his home inside everyone who opens the door for him. God explained to me that just as Jesus jumped into me, he has the ability to step out of me and influence the environment around me.

Sometimes we find ourselves in overwhelming situations, we feel like we are in over our head and the problem is just too big to handle. God has shown me something over the past few weeks as we have gone out on our ‘treasure hunts’. Jesus, who lives in every believer, is bigger than any situation that we might find ourselves in. He has the answer to every problem, there is nothing too big for him and in actual fact he defeated every problem situation, every disease and sickness 2000 years ago by the cross and is now living in victory seated at the right hand of the Father, on the throne of God.

I really want to encourage and remind you that Jesus lives inside of you and is on the edge of his seat ready to step out and change the atmosphere around us. Jesus wants to be released through you so that he can impact you and the world He loves so much. Heaven on Earth—that’s his desire.

I believe we are entering a time when we will see more clearly the supernatural activity of Jesus through his church, miracles, signs and wonders, the manifest glory of God surrounding us wherever we go. Lets go deeper and further with a hunger and expectation of God’s sovereign power being released.
