This March will mark our third year here in Perth. We left Adelaide, the city of our birth not really knowing what would happen in the months ahead. A foreign city, new challenges, new people, unknown suburbs, unknown roads, and even a few different laws ! Yet there was an excitement and anticipation at what God could and would do. As we quoted in last months Newsletter Acts 17:26 God himself has determined the times and the exact places where we should live.

All that God does He does with purpose. He has called us all “to declare His praises” to “let our light shine” and to touch the world with the fragrance, grace, power and love of heaven. It was no mistake that we found ourselves being drawn here. God has a wonderful plan and purpose for all our lives, it is only as we yield to that plan that we can truly enjoy the adventure.

As we walked the streets of Murdoch, Winthrop and Kardinya last month handing out brochures and our new 2009 Calendar, I was reminded again of this verse. “Everywhere your feet shall tread I will give to you” It’s a promise from Deuteronomy 11:24, a verse that was written in a Perth street directory and given to us by a friend as a parting gift as we left Adelaide. It’s a promise we still hold to, impossible for us, but possible for God. To be a radical people who make a difference in the community we find ourselves in, is an enormous challenge, but only if we see ourselves as mere human beings, relying on our own ability, wisdom and strength. We have not been called to “be normal—average every day Christians” in the sense that society has come to expect. NO—that is boring!! We have been called to be community, city, nation and world changers. It is not our ability we rely on, it’s the ability of God in us, for Jesus promise to us in John 14:12 “… anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these” is possible because of the promise of John 14:16-17 “… the Holy Spirit will be with us and live in us”

Our desire is to see more of the life changing power of God in our meetings and flowing through us onto the streets, in the work place, schools, universities and shopping malls. With this in mind, a group of approx 30 of us are traveling to Hong Kong this month for a God encounter and impartation we believe will release fresh anointing and power into Freedom Life as we return. May I humbly ask you to
1. pray for those traveling, that they will be greatly blessed.
2. Continue to use the tools of our brochures, calendars, special guest cards and your own testimony to invite people to our meetings and see God touch people with his love.
