Twins—Two’s—Pairs!
The Bible is full of parallels, some complimentary others seemingly opposite. Life & Death, Triumph & Tears, Blessing & Curse, Faith & Works, Grace & Truth. Paul declares “when I am weak then I am strong” he goes on to say “it is the grace of God that empowers me” Reliance on our own ability, intellect and strength is what closes the door to the supernatural realms of God. Only as we trust in the Holy Spirit within us, the two in synergistic harmony, can we see into this realm. Two is the Biblical number of Testimony-Reward-Multiplication. Our prayer for 2013 is that we multiply numerically, in reward and in our witness to the goodness of God.

Zero sin
Romans 4:8 “Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him” Psalm 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our sin from us” Isaiah 43:25 “I am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. There is no sin that can separate us from God, all has been dealt with at the cross. May this truth forever be at the forefront of our thinking this year, every time condemnation comes we can go back to this truth and thank God for his total forgiveness. The only sin Jesus couldn’t die for was unbelief in Him, as we trust in his cleansing and forgiveness we can live free knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

One Sacrifice
Hebrews 10:14 “by ONE sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are made holy” It is the once for all time, for all mankind sacrifice of Jesus that qualifies us for heaven, it is this one sacrifice that secures our future and establishes a wonderful destiny full of adventure, joy and peace. No pious human effort at religion can ever attain holiness or
perfection. Only as we continue to put our faith in the perfect One can we enjoy the benefits that come from Jesus perfect righteous act.

God as One yet God as Three
2 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. The Trinity is perhaps one of the great mysteries of the Bible. One God yet operating as three distinct personalities. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All 3 were actively involved in our salvation, all 3 continue to keep us, working in and through us, empowering us to live as Jesus lived, enlisted as ambassadors of heaven reflecting the wonder and beauty of God himself. Our confidence is in His / their—keeping power.

God bless
