I’m sure you, like Robyn and myself are looking forward to what God has in store for us this year. We are all a little older, and I trust a little wiser, but our hearts desire is that we all grow a little more like Jesus everyday. This year will certainly have it’s challenges, but every challenge is yet another opportunity for our faith to grow and be exercised and for others to see God through us. Our prayer is that together we progress and mature into a true Bible Based New Testament Church.

It is timely therefore to remind ourselves just why the church exists. The world needs to see that the church is alive and well, that it stands for righteousness, that it is more than just a social club, it is in fact the only avenue of hope. The church is the means by which lonely, hurting people can discover the amazing grace and love of Almighty God.

As we are reminded of these few things let us commit ourselves to faithfully fulfill our calling and mandate to build a church that truly makes a difference, each of us seeing ourselves as a vital, integral and indispensible part. Our future is dependent upon God and YOU. No one is here by accident, God has a purpose for each one and amazingly He has chosen to limit His actions on the earth to a partnership with His children who serve in faith. Let us be that Church that lives in the reality of that partnership. Here is our challenge –

A Biblical Church is to :-
• Exalt God in all aspects of Life
• Enjoy God and the reality of His presence
• Enlist ourselves for God’s will, purposes and plans
• Establish the Kingdom of God, His rule and reign
• Enthrone Christ as King in our lives and ventures
• Exemplify Christ in all we do
• Enhance the life of our Communities through love and kindness
• Equip ourselves and others for service
• Encourage one another
