About us
Freedom Life is a non-denominational church that exists to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are a group of people who love and enjoy God and each other. We celebrate the grace of God that liberates us to be the people we have been created to be; not bound by religious laws and human traditions but living in the freedom that Jesus gave His life for.
Our vision is to see Jesus Christ glorified & demonstrated through the Church living in the rich goodness and magnificence of God, establishing and releasing heaven to the world around us. We live to see every person released into their full potential in Christ.
We desire to be a church providing families both young and old with a strong sense of destiny and purpose, who honour the elderly, serve with humility, are generous with what they have, who care for the poor, and heal the sick.
CORE VALUES
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Our foundation is ‘the Bible plus and the Bible minus nothing’. We endeavor to teach and live out it’s message in every area of life.
Grace
Jesus came to set people free from sin, guilt, fear, sickness and every other form of bondage. We have not been created to live under some code of religious rules, but to live in the unmerited grace of God.
Relationship
We believe that everyone can have a genuine personal relationship with God through His son Jesus. Our aim is to create a safe, friendly, family environment that cultivates deep loving relationships where people are free to discover who they are in God.
Unity
We believe there is only one body of Christ. While we may have many differences in doctrine and mode of operation, our desire is to honour, respect and wherever possible work with other churches in our city and other nations.
Tony & Robyn Ide
Tony & Robyn Ide are the committed senior leaders of Freedom Life Church. Born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, married in 1979 they have two sons and a grandson. With more than 30 years experience in full time ministry they served on the leadership team at Coastlands International Christian Centre for 16 years and travelled internationally as intinerate ministers for over 8 years.
Tony and Robyn relocated to Perth, Western Australia in 2006 to lead Freedom Life. Their passion for unpacking the grace and truth of the word of God is contagious. With a heart for worship and desire to see people set free Tony & Robyn believe strongly in local church and are committed to building a community that experiencially knows the grace of God, operates in the miraculous and is full of extravagant joy.
Luke & Yvonne Ide
Luke & Yvonne lead and coordinate Freedom Life outreach events including community events, treasure hunting/prophetic evangelism, & local expo's.
Yvonne together with Robyn lead the Children's Ministry (Kidslife) creating and sourcing the curriculum they work with the team to teach and release our kids into everything God has for them.
Luke & Yvonne are also involved in coordinating the church service teams, hosting & leading meetings, sermon recordings, church communications, website & facebook pages.
Lucian & Kelly Louise
Lucian & Kelly are recognised deacons in Freedom Life, they lead the worship team as well as the youth group. Being committed members of Freedom Life for many years they carry the dynamic DNA of the church. They are involved in multiple areas of serving including hosting & leading meetings.
Kaye Regel
The beautiful Kaye is recognised as a deacon in Freedom Life. She has a real passion for prayer & the prophetic and is well grounded in the truth of the Word. She is involved in serving in many areas of the church and leads our Ladies Group (Love Our Ladies). She also leads & hosts many of our meetings.
