I believe in the power of our testimony. In Revelation 12:11 it says “they overcame the evil one (the devil) by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their “testimony”.
In the Psalms we read numerous times of the declarations of great things God had done for His people Israel. These deeds were written down as reminders of God’s goodness and mercy. They were recorded so “one generation could tell another”

With this in mind I thought it good to publish this testimony from Clayton Riley.

What God has done in my life:
I have been a Christian for almost 2 years, I asked Jesus into my life on 13th September 2006. I really didn’t think it would make a big difference in my life – how wrong I was!!! I am so, so grateful that I did it!! I now feel like I have a real purpose and genuine direction in my life because of my Lord Jesus Christ.

My perspective on life and priorities have completely shifted to the point where I now feel so excited just to be on this journey, serving God. To think of going back and living my life as an unsaved person is something that really scares me and just highlights to me what a difference God has made in my life.

I am on the ultimate quest; to have a deep, personal and intimate relationship with our almighty God and creator. It is something that is incredibly rewarding and I’m finding myself growing in God, the more I allow God to grow in me. Where there was uncertainty and confusion there is now absolute clarity and certainty. I have always had a strong conscience and good intentions but didn’t have any avenue to really channel that into. In fact I was quite stereotypical about Christians – thinking they didn’t really have anything better to do with their time than to go to church and read the bible – well now I can’t really think of many things better than reading God’s word and praising our indescribable God!!

Since giving my life to God I really have received such freedom in my life, where judgment and self-consciousness has disappeared and God’s love, acceptance, favour and protection now reside over me. To know that God so desperately desires fellowship with me and He longs for me to get to know Him intimately is something I find so inspiring and actually blows me away!! I am so grateful for what God has done in my life already, but I can’t wait for the future, to see what path my heavenly Father has laid out for me.

What a great word and a great blessing Clayton & Taryn have been to us.
